Traditional beef goulash

Ingredients :
500 gm sirloin steak cubed
½ cup flour
1 tbs paprika
10 thyme sprigs
2 onions, sliced
2 cups water
2 cups beef stock
½ cup red wine
1 tin chopped tomato
1 tbs tomato paste
Salt & pepper to taste
3 tbs sour cream
Preparation :
Coat steak well with flour and paprika mixed together. Add oil to a frying pan and heat over medium high heat.
Fry steak in batches until well browned.
Place in a casserole, add remaining ingredients and bake for 1 ½ to 2 hours until cooked.
Add a generous dollop of sour cream then serve immediately.
